I offer a few recommendations for historical novels by contemporary authors that include a touch (or more) of the supernatural. Some of these novels are new, others not, but all are among my personal favorites.
When I first decided to write a novel based on the fascinating lives of the Mackenzie sisters, I knew that I wanted to relate their story as a first-person narrative, but I was conflicted about the narrator.
